Far right and football gangs plot 'revenge' on Muslims
The UK facists are planning to try and make capital out of the London bombings. Fortunatly they lost the Becontree by-election in East London last night though.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/print/0,3858,5239744-103690,00.html

Plans by an alliance of rightwing extremists and football hooligans to exact "revenge" on Muslims after last week's bomb attacks are being monitored by police. The Guardian has learned that extremists are keen to cause widespread fear and injury with attacks on mosques and high-profile "anti-Muslim" events in the capital.

Football hooligans communicating over the internet have spoken of the need to put aside partisan support for teams and unite against Muslims. Hooligans from West Ham, Millwall, Crystal Palace and Arsenal are among those seeking to establish common cause.

As part of wider plans to generate a backlash, rightwing groups such as the Nationalist Alliance and the National Front are said to be planning marches. Extremists hope to hold a march along Victoria Embankment in London tomorrow.

It is also known that many mosques have received bomb threats since the attacks.

4. And this is exactly why things are never going to get any better on
this planet.

Too stupid and biased and bigoted to try to understand what causes all these problems, just have the overwhelming need for 'revenge'.

We have 'em here, they're in London, Tel Aviv, Beirut, and Baghdad.

What always confuses me is why human beings are shown as being more highly evolved than animals.

5. It's not revenge
Don't be fooled. These are people for whom committing violence is entertainment, an enjoyable part of their weekend fun. I'm sure they're delighted about the bombings, since it gives them an excuse. Kick the shit out of a few brown-skinned people and pretend you're on the moral high ground: what's not to like about that?

6. I understand some people have a thing for violence. It's one of the main
enjoyments they get out of life.

But what allows them to get away with so much shit is the feeling that the average guy has for revenge. The eye for an eye thing.

I'm not fooled by a damn thing, believe me. I just understand that if there was more focus on the root causes of the problems and less (or none) on the paybacks are a bitch end, we might make some progress in human relations and possibly not end up destroying this planet one day.

But I don't really hold out much hopel

10. Some are, some most definitely aren't.
Unfortunately, it only takes a few to keep the blood flowing.

19. This is the funny thing about the BNP...
they claim to be a "patriotic" party, yet they grew out of the British Union of Facists who betrayed Britain in the Second World War and they claim to be against terrorism yet they are well known for their violence towards anyone whos race or religion they don't like. They say they are one thing but their actions prove them not to be what they say they are at all.

Mind you, this is to be expected of a group who, being neo-nazi's are not above claiming the Holocaust never happened.

8. I really hope their intended victems will go to great lengths to protect
themselves for a while, and that somehow these people will be thwarted.

Sadistic, moronic bullies never need much encouragement. You never see them going after anyone powerful, of course. They're only good for picking off those who don't have a voice in the world.

9. One innocent Muslim has already been beaten to death
"A British Muslim of Pakistani origin was beaten to death by a gang of extremists in Nottingham ," Feda Hassan, the Muslim Association of Britain (MAB) media official, told IslamOnline.net Wednesday, July 13.

Police sources said that Kamal Raza, 48, had gone to a shop on Sunday, July 10, to buy some items and while getting out, he was obstructed by a gang of extremists, who shouted anti-Muslim abuse against him, the Guardian reported.

They said the attackers called Raza "Taliban" (in reference to the Afghan movement accused by the West of supporting the terrorist Al-Qaeda network) and beat him until he breathed his last.

12. Football?
Aren't these really soccer hooligans to those of us in the USA? We can't envision a bunch of Packers or Raiders fans doing such a thing. Well, maybe the Raiders fans.

15. Yeah, what we call "Soccer" they call "Football"
or "footies", which has an ENTIRELY other meaning over here...

Then there's "Australian Rules" Football, which as near as I can tell is best summed up by Outback steakhouse's slogan: "No Rules...Just Right"

13. Hmmm....wonder where they got the idea?
Unreason
By Geoff Metcalf (07/10/05)

(snip)

Apparently the ‘stiff upper lip’ British resolve of the days of Germany’s Blitz has metastasized into a laissez fair “life goes on” myopia. Maybe if it had been the French who bombed the plaque off the teeth of London in pique for having lost the 2012 Olympics the UK would be more annoyed? Islamist terrorists don’t apparently merit antipathy comparable to centuries old Franco-British feuds.

London was not targeted because Tony Blair supports George Bush in Iraq or in the war on terror. London was hit because they are ‘western’ and do not subscribe to the perverted gospel according to al Qaida and their ilk.

If England went the way of France and Spain and John Kerry it wouldn’t mean Jack-spit to the Islamist. Three sophisticated bombs were detonated in the London Underground within a minute of each other. It was classic al Qaida style. Although the al Qaida connection has not been verified, what occurred July 7th in London IS what they do…and HOW they do it.
Even the casual observer can comprehend the detonations were by synchronized timers and not martyrdom wannabe suicide bombers. A double-decker bus (a virtual tourism symbol for London) blew up an hour after the initial synchronized explosions
The explosions were so destructive authorities have been unable to identify a single body. Analysts are examining fingerprints, dental records and shredded flesh for DNA analysis.
Rather than righteous indignation and annoyance at the inconvenience to their commute, Londoners have every justification to go sling-blade on the bastards:
· Issue a Brigade of double-0 licenses to kill
· Unleash the SAS
· Militarize soccer fans....

I read the comments by Gibson, Hume, Limbaugh, Harvey...all disgusting...but this guy's a war-monger of the highest order, with no concept or concern for the fact that he's essentially inciting a race riot and mob rule. And we all know how effective THAT is for society's progress....

17. Heloooooo-OH?
"London was not targeted because Tony Blair supports George Bush in Iraq or in the war on terror."

Gee, I wonder why the two high-profile attacks in the West in recent years were in Spain and England, and not in France or Germany?

About the rest of the ramblings: that guy is EVIL!

14. I was hoping this wouldn't happen in England...
the way it happened here. Just goes to show there are rightwing zealots everywhere. When I first heard about the bombing, I was hoping that England would not give in to the fear and fear-mongering that this country gave in to. I hope they don't decide to sacrifice civil liberties for a false sense of security.

18. They should team up with the freepers
Perhaps if they put all their resources together, they can buy an ICBM and nuke Mecca, like they desire to do so badly.

Sick individuals.
