IRAQ: LATEST AL-ZARQAWI MAGAZINE DEDICATED TO BUSH

Baghdad, 15 July (AKI) - The third and latest issue of the online magazine produced by al-Qaeda in Iraq, the terror group led by the Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, is dedicated to the US president George W. Bush. Dhawrat al-Sanam (the apex of Islam) begins with a photo of the US leader and the headline: 'Bush: Evangelical Crusader'.

The cover photo shows the American president in front of the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. In the article, only the first part of which appears in the magazine, tells of the first years of Bush's life and his links with Christian groups in America. In the next issue, it says on page 22, "we will talk about his relationship with the Zionists and of how he became one of their soldiers."

The 40 pages of the latest issue of Dhawrat al-Sanam also feature a biography of Omar Hadid, the leader of al-Qaeda in Fallujah, who was killed during the American military offensive launched against the western Iraqi city in November last year.

A third article describes in minute detail the attack carried out by a terror group on the notorious Abu Ghraib prison on April 2, in which it says 44 US soldiers were injured. The operation was dedicated to Aby Anas al-Shami, the former mufti (religious leader) of the group, who died last September following an attempted attack on the same prison which failed, according to the magazine, because the Americans were tipped off beforehand.

1. Bush is a Zionist the same way Frank Purdue is a chicken
Bush's interest in Israel is only to see it eventually slaughtered during The Apocalypse.

His whole foreign policy is designed to facilitate a final confrontation in the Middle East.

2. "Third issue"?
Why have we never heard about issues 1 and 2? Why does the article not give the website address so we can investigate this for ourselves?

And doesn't it seem odd that this "al-Qaida in Iraq" group has enough spare time (and enough web developers) to sit around publishing an "online magazine"?

Gee, it almost sounds so slick that it's the type of thing that would come out of the Republican National Committee. I'm just sayin', y'know.

4. First issue was reported in March
A new online magazine purportedly posted by al-Qaida's affiliate in Iraq has launched an effort to recruit Muslims to rid Iraq of infidels and apostates - its names for Americans and their Iraqi partners.

The colorful, well-designed magazine is named Zurwat al-Sanam, Arabic for "The Tip of the Camel's Hump" - a reference among Islamic militants to "the epitome of belief and virtuous activity."

Who would have thought that we would see the "Jihadist Information Brigade" appear or Abu Musab al-Zarqawi start publishing his own Internet webzine? Zurwat Al Sanam – translated, it means "The Tip of the Camel Hump" – allegedly started publishing in March, but trying to find a URL to the publication in English through Google is about as easy as trying to find Mr. Zarqawi himself.

Ironically, this grass-roots, er, sandlot use of the Internet runs counter to the loud ideas espoused by cyberwarfare geeks and info-sec experts that evil doers would use their much superior knowledge of the Internet to bring down banking systems, power plants, and Civilisation As We Know it, inflicting billions of dollars of damage onto world economies. Turns out that the evil doers need the Internet now more than ever to communicate, organise and propagandise the masses.

5. thanks!
And the AP report on that "first issue" is very direct in what it says:

The authenticity of such magazines is hard to verify.

8. i should learn to wait for you to post
;)
so its "The Tip of the Camel Hump" not "the apex of Islam" these a-rabs are confusing.I know journalists aren't known for their spelling but it doesn't help when they make these kind of mistakes so frequently

The womans jihad magazine they where pushing before led straight to a translation agency run by a ex israeli intelligence colonel and the wife of david wurmser who worked for Douglas Feith and now works for Cheney.
yep,the wife of a guy who works for Cheney runs the agency that translates much of the jihad/al-qaida stuff we see in the media.
you can check that out for yourself by googling memri.org

im going to repeat that to be clear...
the wife of a guy who works for Cheney runs the agency that translates much of the jihad/al-qaida stuff we see in the media

7. It could be on the Deep Web.
Edited on Fri Jul-15-05 10:25 AM by sleipnir
If you don't know the URL or have password from a nondescript referrer page, you'll never see it.

Google trawl doesn't really include the Deep Web.

10. but that defeats the whole purpose?if i want converts i need pageviews
millions of them..
I'm not doubting that there are some terrorists or that they do use the internet,i just see strong signs that what we see in our media is a agenda-driven warped fiction not the reality of terror and the terrorists.

keeps growing back limbs and recovers from all wounds.
