Three UK soldiers killed in Iraq (roadside bomb)
Three British soldiers have been killed by a suspected roadside bomb while serving in Iraq, the MoD has confirmed.

The troops, from Task Force Maysan, were attacked in central Amarah early on Saturday morning, a spokesman said.

"We can confirm that three soldiers have died from injuries sustained in hostile action," he said.

Iraqi police say three of the soldiers' colleagues were also injured in the attack. The deaths bring the number of British troops killed in Iraq to 92.

3. Had Blair not gone to war with Bush
All the British troops that died in Iraq would be alive today, AND there would not have been a bombing in London.

5. IF indeed the bomb was a result of the UK's role in Iraq
,
,
,

It should REALLY put terror in the hearts of Americans for what lies in store for the US "homeland"

If Al-Qa-ida or whomever intends to repay the participants in relation to their role in Iraq and/or Afghanistan . . .

It won't be just ONE city in the US . . .

and I bet there are hundreds of American citizens, if not thousands, that had innocent relatives that got blown to bits (that's "collateral damage" in US military speak, not murder). Citizens that never thought of doing anything against the US, now feel bound by duty to avenge those deaths.

These people are not impatient, and there will be no warning - One day there will be suicide bombers and car bombs, and maybe some new method of destruction going on all over the US -

It could be tomorrow, 2 years from now, or decades from mow - but count on it . . .

Not much wonder the Administration is wary of ANY Arabs/Iraqis in the US, cuz they have NO idea of whose relatives they have slaughtered (they don't do body counts - remember??)

Feel safer now ???

Murikkkan dream has become a nightmare methinks . .

6. no it isn't
The reasons the Iraq war is wrong are the pretext and the actions committed during its course. Soldiers dying, however tragic, is the natural outcome of any war.

None of this is to say that I don't feel the deepest sympathies toward the killed and injured soldiers and their families. Rather, I hold those who initiated the unjust war responsible.

7. The age-old question
"How do you ask a man to be the last man to die in Iraq.?
How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a lie?"

8. May they rest in peace.
Since Monday this week

5 Americans
1 Italian
3 U.K.

Unfortunately, I doubt they will be the last.

10. Only says "wounded" but not how many. Not like the UK press to be as
incompetent/whores as the American press.

In my basic writing classes, I even learned to include the most important facts. If not answered by the authorities, it should be included in the report, "... would not comment on the number of wounded."

12. I've run out of words
All the ones I want to use are curses. Rest in peace all, Iraqi's, Americans, British, rest in peace any and all, who have died in this useless bullshit war. Over here in Washington, another Fort Lewis soldier returning from Iraq has murdered his wife. Third one over here. God I'm sad. I'm "Listening to Master's of War" by Bob Dylan right now. It shouldn't apply so many years later, but it still nails it.
