Ex-PM Ted Heath "getting weaker" : BBC
Former Tory Prime Minister Sir Edward Heath has "recently become considerably weaker", his spokesman said.

Sir Edward, 89, is "resting quietly at home" where he is receiving medical attention, the spokesman said.

He won his first seat for the Tories in Bexley in 1950 and led the 1970-74 Conservative Government.

He took Britain into the European Economic Community and deployed troops to Northern Ireland. In 1975, he lost the leadership to Margaret Thatcher.

1. Immortalized in the Beatles song, "Taxman"
Don't ask me what I want it for, (ah-ah, mister Wilson)
If you don't want to pay some more. (ah-ah, mister Heath)
'Cause I’m the taxman,
Yeah, I’m the taxman.

7. If you tried it would probably just be evaporated by her demonic aura
Although the thing really making me want to puke at the moment is my own apparent inability to spell "sight".:dunce:

12. RIP Ted
You were PM for half of my teenage years.

Despite your many failings I know you were an active opponent of appeasement in the 1930's and that you fought fascism on the battle field.

I would choose you over Blair any day.
