DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Pvt. Lavena L. Johnson, 19, of Florissant, Mo., died July 19 in Balad, Iraq, of non-combat related injuries. Johnson was assigned to the Army's 129th Corps Support Battalion, Fort Campbell, Ky.

2. 19 years old. Just 19. Not even old enough to drink here in Nebraska.

Only been able to buy a cigarettes for less than two years. Just barely old enough to be called an 'adult' legally. And now he's dead.

Poor, poor bably. I pity is family. They have to be heartbroken.

3. Do you suppose Bush even knows about this, another teenager dying

for his sham of a war, or if he even cares? Meanwhile, he is taking a month long vacation while our troops have to do double tours in ungodly heat under immeasurable stress. It is freaking unbelievable how callous he is..I am sure he doesn't fret or lose one iota of sleep about what he has caused.
