Studio leaders!

That isn't even counting the Rubber Turkeys and other "Studio pResident" type props. Stagecraft has replaced statesmanship and b@lls. Cheerleaders and pimps for big bidness, but not real leaders of nations. Simply, studio bullsh*tters.

Tammy Fay taught them every damned thing she knew, and they're still eat up with the creeping dumb ass. Studio Minister Tammy got busted for practicing richcraft, like the richcraft that Shrub and the Poodle are also involved in, 24/7. Maybe our Peerless Leaders need to power-spank each other, after they get home from Fundieschool, like Tammy and Jim no doubt used to, in that "Upper Room"!

How many poor homeless souls, could Brother Bush and Brother Tony feed, with just their make up money alone? I'm sure either Tammy Faye's and Miz. Harris's make up money would feed a multitude. Make up overkill, runs deep in the souls, hearts and minds, of Holy Ghost GOPers and other assorted neoshysters and studio folk. The preachers and pResidents live the high life on our tax money and they laugh all the way to the bank!

12. Tis the way of modern politics
Democratic politics does seem to be getting ever more superficial. Sad I know but that's the way the worlds going. The candidate with the nicest image wins, and that kind of "style over substance" politics has many problems of its own.

20. PEANUTS ! Irish PM Bertie Ahern spent £115,000
But this seems modest compared with Irish premier Bertie Ahern, who is reported to have spent more than £115,000 on his appearance since 1997.

The Independent reported in June that Mr Ahern had spent 28,000 euros (£19,000) on make-up in the past year, and said his office had confirmed that since 1997 Mr Ahern's appearance had cost taxpayers 167,000 euros (£115,895).

25. That's about $1 a day that he has been in office.
Divide it by the number of times he has been in office and you have to assume that he's not using the make-up artist that often.

There are far more important things Blair is spending much more of the taxpayers' money on. Gee, I don't know. Maybe an illegal war of aggression in Iraq?

35. Breaking this down is interesting
According to the piece, Tony Blair spent 1050 pounds on products over six years and 791 pounds on artists' fees over the last two years.

That comes to 175 pounds per year for cosmetics and about 395 pounds per year for artists. To me this doesn't sound unreasonable: he wears makeup every day, probably touches it up every time he goes before the camera (lies make you sweat, and sweat is not good for cosmetics), washes his face and puts on fresh after lunch (and probably after he gets home on evenings he goes out with his wife) and uses the most expensive brands. Plus, they talk about his using more since the Iraq War started. Three hundred and fifty bucks a year, on average, for someone who's in the spotlight as much as he is? I can accept that.

Okay, now let's talk un-fucking-reasonable: Irish premier Bertie Ahern, who last year (according to the same article) spent 19,000 pounds on makeup. That's got to be embezzlement: Tammy Faye Messner and Jan Crouch COMBINED don't spend forty thousand dollars a year on makeup.

37. No one looks good under bright television lights without makeup
No one.

Eff what ya heard.

John Kennedy and Richard Nixon made that abundantly clear back in the late 50's.

If Blair appeared on TV looking washed out and tired, people would not listen to what he was saying--they'd be stuck on how he looks.

If this were still a radio society, then makeup wouldn't be an issue. It's not.
