BRASILIA, Brazil (AP) - British Prime Minister Tony Blair sent his regrets to Brazil on Tuesday for the killing of a Brazilian man mistaken for a terrorist in London, the president's office said.

Blair telephoned Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and said England "is going through difficult times as a result of terrorist acts," the president's office said in a statement.
