AFGHANISTAN: 1 U.S. SERVICEMEMBER KILLED, 1 INJURED IN IED STRIKE

KABUL , Afghanistan – A U.S. service member was killed today and another injured when the High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle they were traveling in was struck by what is believed to be an improvised explosive device near Orgun-E in Paktika province.

An Afghan National Army soldier was also injured in the attack.
The wounded were taken to a nearby Coalition base for treatment. Both were reported in stable condition.

Soldiers from the Afghan National Army provided security at the scene.

An investigation will be conducted into the incident.

"so-called" war for freedom where bush freed millions of people. Most Americans don't even know we are still there and didn't blink an eye the day all the troops & Seals were killed - they don't even know it happened.
