DAMASCUS, Aug. 6 (KUNA) -- Syria on Saturday dismissed the latest US charges of responsibility for Iraq's internal unrest.
"Every time there is a difference between what Washington says and what it does, the US administration blames the unrest in Iraq on other countries," the Syrian official radio station said in a regular daily broadcast.
The station described as unwarranted the new anti-Syrian charges and recalled that Syria had met terrorism head about a quarter of a century ago and had called for an international conference to define terrorism.
"Unless the root causes of terrorism are addressed, this phenomenon would continue and worsen," the station said.
