Decision on appropriateness of billboard which features US president being made today

A decision is due to be made today whether a billboard labelling President Bush an 'evil bastard' is appropriate.

The Hell Pizza billboards have been erected around Auckland and Wellington. Half of the poster is taken up with a photo of the president and the other half has the phrase 'Hell: Too Good For Some Evil Bastards.'

Outdoor Advertising New Zealand is reviewing who is behind the boards and whether the Advertising Standards Authority needs to become involved.

Hell's media manager, Matthew Blomfield, says they expected to cause a bit of a stir. He says it is meant to provoke discussion and be a little edgy, instead of bland, boring advertising.

Mr Blomfield is hoping reaction will be balanced between those who find it funny and those who are upset by it.

If you are on the North Island definately go to the top of the Coromandel Peninsula in December---the Pohutakawa trees will be in bloom. Great camping in the area. Go to Raglan and drive south on the dirt road---great views of the Tasman Sea---then go see Bridal Veil Falls. Go to the Napier area and go up on Te Mata Peak---you can drive to the top. On South Island it is a must to go to Akaroa and the winery at French Bay. Hike up on the road past the hospital in Akaroa for good photos. Go to the Catlins in the very south of the South Island. Owaka---Jacks Blow Hole---Curio Bay---and definately Slope Point. Enjoy---try getting a membership in BPH backpackers---it will save you money! Enjoy this wonderful country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

42. I drove all over the North Island around fifteen years ago.

I saw giant Kuri trees, biggest sand dunes on earth, cleanest environment on earth, pleasantly low population density, friendly, English speaking people, most water falls anywhere, ferns the size of trees.

Also you can see the huge clear crator lake Topo, volcanos, gisers, huge caverns, caves lit by glow worms, and caves you can tour in boats and even swim thru using snorkling equiptment.

Napier is a city that has the most art deco buildings on earth. New Zealand is like having every national park in America crammed into one state.

Best to travel there in January or Febuary, during their summer months.

15. No one has labeled bush as an "evil bastard" in that billboard.

That's just a conclusion that people have made, sort of like the conclusion that Saddam had something to do with the events of September 11, 2001 because every time bush or cheney or rice or rumsfeld opened their fat mouths they linked the two together.

See what happens when you associate one thing with another? Except in the case of the billboard, I respectfully submit that it is leading to a conclusion of truth; i.e., bush is in fact quite the evil bastard.
