Terrorism: Italy's Withdrawl From Iraq "Not Enough"
Rome and Naples are Italy's major targets of terrorist attacks, said Muhammad al-Masaari, editor of the Islamist web site al-Tajdeed. In an interview to Adnkronos International (AKI), al-Masaari warned that "Italy is certainly at risk as far as it remains in Afghanistan and Iraq." Moreover, shutting down Islamist websites and withdrawing from Iraq will not remove threat of Islamist terrorism, he argues.

''Italy's prime minister Silvio Berlusconi loves money, and he will realise that following the Americans in their military expeditions is not profitable," he said. And, withdrawing from Iraq won't solve the issue unless the step is followed by a similar decision in Afghanistan and in all other military missions Italy is involved in, al-Masaari explained.

In Iraq Italy has a 3,000-strong military contingent, deployed in Nassiriya. And in Afghanistan, where Italy has recently taken over command of NATO's peacekeeping force, Italian troops are the second biggest contingent in the country after Germany.

He pointed to Rome and Naples as potential terrorist targets but other Italian art cities such as Genoa and Venice are also at risk, according to al-Masaari.

1. Well, Berlusconi has certainly put his nuts in a vice. But following
bush** he's made Italy a target of terrorists. Blackmailing terrorists. So this is lose-lose for him. He could take the troops out of Iraq, which would be the right thing to do. But that's not good enough. They want Italy out of Afganistan as well. So what's a nasty little facist to do? Obey the demands of these guys and do what they want setting a precedent of caving to blackmail. Or bombmail, or terrormail, or whatever you want to call it. Or tell them to climb a rope and possibly being attacked in the near future like America and Spain were.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Quite a conundrum. (A paradoxical, insoluble, or difficult problem; a dilemma.) Yep, Berli, you have quite a conundrum on your hands. And you only have your own ignorance and the bush** administration to thank for it.

2. Italy should withdraw from Iraq, and the other locations.
If Italy withdraws its troops from Iraq, there will be lots of fallout. The US will be practically alone, alongside Britain which is certainly paying the price for its involvement.

The U.S. will screech that it "gives the terrorists what they want", and is an act of cowardice.

But it won't matter, because the Italians will be happy.

3. The guy is an honest advocate of terrorism--he's basically saying
that it's useless to take what the terrorists and Islamists want with regards to anti-terrorism policy.

Why hasn't the UK deported his ass yet?

4. He should leave, or get deported.
He'd be happier in a sharia country. Why doesn't he move to one ?
