Four Star General Fired For Organizing Coup Against Neo-Cons?

The head of Fort Monroe's Training and Doctrine Command, four star general Kevin P. Byrnes, was fired Tuesday apparently for sexual misconduct according to official sources.

Other sources however have offered a different explanation for Byrnes' dismissal which ties in with the Bush administration's unpopular plan to attack Iran and the staged nuclear attack in the US which would provide the pretext to do so.

Lehrman said that other sources had told him all army leave had been cancelled from September 7th onwards, opening the possibility for war to be declared within that time frame.

Earlier this week, Washington Post reported that the Pentagon has developed its first ever war plans for operations within the continental United States, in which terrorist attacks would be used as the justification for imposing martial law on cities, regions or the entire country.

American Conservative Magazine recently reported that Dick Cheney had given orders to immediately invade Iran after the next terror attack in the US, even if there was no evidence Iran was involved.

1. If true, then there's nothing now to prevent him

from publicizing the upcoming planned attack. He should spill his guts to Fitzgerald and anyone else who wants to listen. He should also ask for witness protection.

There was an article about an officer vandalizing cars that had Bush bumperstickers on it.
He may not have had the majority behind him but he may have had a few behind him who could interrupt the planned attack.

7. I say tinfoil

Training and Doctrince command are the people in the Army who train the troops and write the manual - this 4 star is the last person in the Army who can afford to have ethics problem - they can be overlooked else where, but TRADOC literally writes the book.

I'm not sure how you do a Coup in the US even if you had the firepower (which this guy doesnt) - what exactly would you do?

9. TRADOC is just the training command

Had General Byrnes been in charge of FORSCOM, he would have had troops under his command. I think the good general did something naughty with someone that was related to someone really important, sort of along the lines of King David sleeping with Uriah's wife.

It must have been pretty bad to get canned after submitting your retirement papers.
