Venezuela Buys Two Oil Tankers, Sends Diesel Fuel to Argentina
Aug. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Venezuela will buy two oil tankers from Argentina and sell it $100 million in diesel fuel paid for with farm and industrial goods, Nilda Garre, Argentina's Ambassador to Venezuela, said in an interview.
Argentina needs the diesel oil to power electricity generators as the country is short on natural gas, Garre said. Venezuela this year said it would buy up to $500 million in Argentine bonds to help the country meet its financing needs.

Our right-wing tries to get a lot of mileage from the preferred rate offered to Cuba for oil without mentioning there are 12 OTHER countries in Central America and the Caribbean who ALSO are paying preferred rates for oil, as well, under the San Jose and the Caracas Accords.
It's interesting seeing how industrious Venezuela has become in arranging its priorities in the last few years. More power to them.
