The Fair Political Practices Commission charged Caroline Getty, a granddaughter of J. Paul Getty, "with secretly funneling $1 million in political contributions to support California ballot measures in 2000 and 2002." snip
Her attorney, Colleen McAndrews, who recently acted as a legal advisor to Governor-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger's campaign -- was not immediately available for comment.
Caroline Getty is known for her support of conservationist causes and ranks among the richest Americans.
