POWAY, Calif. -- Federal officials searched an information management company with ties to Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham, who is under investigation for his dealings with a defense contractor.
Agents from the FBI, Internal Revenue Service and other agencies served a warrant at Poway-based ADCS Inc. on Tuesday, FBI special agent Kiffa Shirley said.
Shirley did not provide details about the investigation.
ADCS specializes in converting paper documents into computer records and has received millions of dollars in military contracts over the last decade. Its political action committee has donated more than $30,000 to Cunningham, an eight-term Republican.
