("Christian") Camp director charged with molesting child

Warrenton, MO (AP) -- The director of an eastern Missouri Christian camp has been charged with sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl at the camp, according to court records.

Otto Roth, 67, of Wright City, is charged with one count of statutory sodomy and two counts of child molestation.

He is accused of having sexual contact with the girl at Camp Kavod in Foristell. He was arraigned Tuesday and is being held on $150,000 cash-only bond.

Warren County Sheriff Kevin Harrison urged parents to call authorities if their children have ever mentioned anything inappropriate happening at the camp.

It really is all about "de-humanization". I think the only way someone could do this to a child is if they de-humanized the child.

The example set by this mis-administration and their enablers is that if you don't like someone, or something. If you want to do something, you justify what you do by de-humanizing the object of your desire, or wrath. You make it non-human. People don't have different opinions from them, they're EVIL!!!

Once you make something "EVIL", you can do all kinds of sick shit in the name of "Good", or even "God" for that matter.

As sick as this is somehow I'm not surprised.

I don't believe that those that are pious tend to be child molesters. Rather I believe that those who would molest children tend to hide among the pious.

The would be child molesters are drawn toward the pious because it is easier to hide among such groups.

However, those that are pious are more likely to suppress natural urges and needs. These individuals label normal adult sex as deviant and unnatural. Their brains try to tell them one thing while their bodies are screaming for the other. Then, you put them in positions of authority where others are under their control (camp directors or counselors for instance), and no telling what type of rationalization happens when their bodies are screaming to have sex.

So, I think that piety can screw one up so much that it may increase the chance of molestation given the right circumstances.

In Warren County NJ, a camp counselor from Pine Knob MO was charged with molesting a 12 year old boy this week. Whether this was a church camp as well was not reported.

Just a coincidence, I am sure.
