BBC: Former minister Mo Mowlam dies
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4126986.stm

Former Northern Ireland Secretary Mo Mowlam has died, aged 55.

She went into hospital at the end of July before being moved to a hospice. It was unclear if her illness was linked to her previous brain tumour.

Ms Mowlam, Labour MP for Redcar between 1987-2001, oversaw the talks which led to the 1998 Good Friday Agreement.

As an MP Ms Mowlam was a popular and charismatic figure, known for her sense of humour. She leaves husband, merchant banker turned painter Jon Norton.

Here's one to Mo - fantastic sense of humour, honest, hard-working and a genuinely wonderful person who made a HUGE contribution to politics in the UK and peace in Ireland.

Here's to you, Mo...

:toast:

Thanks for your work.

May you be in heaven before the Devil knows you're dead.

P.

2. We were expecting this
This wasn't entirely unexpected but it's still a blow to hear such news.
My thoughts are with her family and colleagues.

6. Oh. Is there a good one?
The only one I've heard about is a bad-minded, far-right-wing, bible-thumping bigot who has made a career out of intransigence, hate and fear.

8. What I find terrrifying
is that he has a son. That means an adult human female agreed to have sex with him at least once.

11. It's worse, it's thrice
The bigot Paisley has two other children. So an adult female agreed to have sex with him THREE times :scared:

Yuk! I feel ill ALREADY.
