Brazilian officials to question De Menezes investigators (London tube)

Brazilian officials will arrive in Britain today to question investigators examining the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes, as the row over the electrician's death intensifies.

Two Brazilian government representatives plan to meet members of the Independent Police Complaints Commission team (IPCC), the Met's Deputy Assistant Commissioner John Yates and other officials.

They want clarification on new reports about the killing of the innocent 27-year-old that emerged last week, sparking accusations of a cover up by police.

Leaked documents from the investigation into his death appeared to contradict earlier police and witness accounts of the incident at Stockwell tube station.....
