ONE of Aim's top performers last week was Sky Capital Enterprises. The US-based investment vehicle soared 20% to 148p after Global Secure Corporation, in which Sky has an 18% stake, announced plans to float on Nasdaq.

Global Secure provides emergency safety equipment, such as breathing apparatus, to many US organisations as well as associated services. The market also welcomed the appointment of Paul Bremer, former presidential envoy to Iraq, as chairman of Global Secure's advisory board.
