Bush Bikes, Boats During Idaho Vacation
DONNELLY, Idaho (AP) - President Bush spent Tuesday at a resort in the Idaho Rockies, mountain biking around a rugged trail circuit before going fishing in a small pontoon boat on a wind-whipped lake.

``I'm kind of hanging loose, as they say,'' Bush said earlier outside of his lodge at the 9-month-old Tamarack Resort, where he was spending two nights away from his Texas ranch.

``I made a mistake not coming here earlier,'' Bush told reporters after walking with Kempthorne down a short path from his lodge. ``It's a beautiful state.''

During the day, two planes separately wandered into restricted airspace over the resort put in place to protect the president, White House spokesman Trent Duffy said. He said both planes were forced to land, and the pilots were questioned and released.

12. "I made a mistake not coming here earlier" is hilarious!
Considering that the resort construction isn't even completed yet.

What an idiot!

(President's Daily Briefing) was handed to Bush. The title of the briefing was "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in the US."

Bush ignored it, went fishing, and carried on with his five week vacation, leading up to 9/11.

Frank Rich made that point a few days ago in his NYT column, and it is a telling point.

"Hang loose?" Hell, no, we gonna Tighten Up

15. Accomplishments.
This "president's" list of accomplishments will be a hoot. They will consist of dismantling other presidents' accomplishments, Democratic and Republican - mostly while on vacation. Another accomplishment might be: record number of lives lost while on presidential vacations. He plays - people die.
