Hoekstra concerned about possibility of civil war in Iraq

HOLLAND, Mich. (AP) -- House Intelligence Chairman Pete Hoekstra said Thursday he worries about the possibility of a civil war erupting in Iraq because of disputes surrounding the drafting of a constitution.

But Hoekstra, R-Holland, added that the United States and its allies are doing all they can to prevent a civil war.

Hoekstra, who returned to his district Wednesday evening after a weeklong trip to Iraq, Jordan, Egypt and England with three other House members, also said it's still too early to tell whether a civil war will erupt.

"The expectation is that there will not be one, that we will be able to keep this under control," he told The Associated Press in an interview.

This clusterfuck started... so did anybody with half a brain. Either they couldn't read History, or they wanted this mess.

8. Talk about a disconnect!!
He talks out of one side of his mouth saying that he's worried about a civil war but then out of the other side he says all will be fine as long as we are able to keep this under control.

What a gigantic dick!

1) there is already a civil war going on
2) we haven't been able to keep squat under control. Controlling the situation, usually means peace.
3) define control?

He's worried about a civil war but he says it's to early to tell, then why does he worry if according to him there is no way to tell?????

Everything they have said about this total fuck up has been a lie or completely wrong and the opposite has always proven to be true.

So we are supposed to believe this fucking jerk when he says, "The expectation is that there will not be one". How does one expect a civil war? So because this jerk off says it, it must be true???

Frankly, I think he just confirmed it.

colossal failure*.
