October 18, 2003 — Philadelphia mayoral candidate Sam Katz is asking a court to keep under seal a lawsuit that accused him of deceiving former business partners and participating in an embezzlement scheme.

Katz is the Republican challenger to embattled Mayor John Street, whose office is in the midst of an F-B-I investigation.
