Former Aryan Nations HQ Up for Auction
HAYDEN, Idaho - The former headquarters of a white supremacist group is headed for the auction block because no one picked up the mortgage payments after the group's founder died in September.

Aryan Nations founder Richard Butler died of a heart attack at age 86, leaving an unpaid balance of $91,486 on the home.

Human-rights advocates say the looming sale is one of many signs the Aryan Nations is in decline.

"He was the glue of the Aryan Nations movement in the Northwest, if not the country," said
FBI agent Norm Brown, supervisor of the Inland Northwest Joint Terrorism Task Force. "As a result of his death, we've seen a marked decrease in Aryan Nations activity in the Inland Northwest."

Butler was an aeronautical engineer from California who moved to northern Idaho in the 1970s and built his Church of Jesus Christ Christian, also known as Aryan Nations, on a 20-acre rural site north of Hayden Lake.

1. Loan me $5 so I can buy that b*tch, then burn it to the ground.
Sorry if that sounds a little intolerant.

2. Better idea...
Why not gather as much money as we can, buy it, and turn it into an international, multicultural education and TOLERANCE center. A beacon of love, rather than hate, in the world. What better way to "honor" the memory of a dead fascist like the Aryan Nations founder.

4. Thoughtful, but also pragmatic...
with a voluntary effort, the land would be worth something to many people, increasing its value. Burning the structures there will only allow for a day of satisfaction, a loss in value, human and monetary, and basically nothing accomplished.

22. I am all for this!
Sounds like a great idea..."purge the hate" and "rebuild with love." From the ashes, the mighty Phoenix rises!

7. Who will teach his flock whom to hate, whom to terrorize,
whom to sucker punch, and murder? Who will plan their hate crimes?

I just want to squall. Thank god the reports indicate he died peacefully in his sleep. You surely wouldn't want him to be uncomfortable.

Maybe someone will buy the property and turn it into a retirement home for aging idiot supremicists. Only the best for them, of course.

Richard Butler

His poor, leaderless tools.

9. Absolutely! Both "men of God!" Both have been tax exempt.
They both believe in murdering those they don't like.

You're right.

His natural successor is here already. No need looking throughout the world to find someone as hate-filled as he was.

Pat'll hit the ground raving.

21. Now you've crossed into Phelps land
I think Phelps is more like Richard Butler than Patwah because both Butler and Phelps appeal and preach to the very extreme. Patwah is a radical American cleric with a sizeable following and he can exert political influence, something both Butler and Phelps can't. Furthermore Phelps, like Butler, tends to target the marginalized and the disenfranchised as his victims.

Then again, I just hate Phelps since he & his family live up the road in Topeka.

10. Ok this is a little off topic
But since we trash women who are ugly repukes, I thought I'd say something about the majority of these Nazi, KKK and other white supremacists men. Why are they so ugly???

Once in awhile you will get a good looking one (some think David Duke is good looking) but most of them are fat, bald, and just plain ugly. Even Hitler was one little wormy ugly guy. What is it with these men? Why do they look like they were left to rot in a pit, then someone came along, dug them up and slapped a white supremacist sticker on them? They are seriously stomach ache ugly.

13. You know how your mother told you if you kept making that face, it would
freeze that way? There's a certain amount of truth to that. The reason all the Republicans have thin little lipless mouths, for instance, isn't because they were born that way, but because they have them more or less constantly pressed into a disapproving line.

You are quite correct about the aesthetic "beauty" of the advocates of the "master race"
Ugly inside and out.

12. Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations
This organization may be of some assistance in finding a suitable use for the property:

The Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations was founded in 1981 as a response group against the harassment and criminal activities of the Aryan white supremacy movement located north of Hayden Lake, a community in Kootenai County, Idaho. The Task Force has been instrumental in directing the passage of major Idaho legislation giving the state strong laws against harassment.
