Turkish PM Will Not Send Troops to Iraq if Not Wanted
VOA News

Turkey's prime minister says his country will abandon plans to send troops to Iraq if they are not wanted there.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan says Turkey is not that enthusiastic about sending troops and only offered them in response to a request by the United States. Iraq's Governing Council has voiced objections to the deployment of Turkish troops.

Meanwhile, Iraq briefly re-opened a crucial northern oil pipeline to Turkey Saturday, but was forced to shut it down after two hours because of leaks.

The northern pipeline to the Turkish Mediterranean port of Ceyhan had been closed since August because of sabotage. Turkish officials say technical problems are to blame for the latest shutdown.

In another development, Dutch troops have called weapons experts to southern Iraq to determine whether they have found a cache of chemical arms. U.S. and British investigators are headed to al-Muthanna province to examine the munitions.

Now thats a SMART thing Turkish PM did! I wonder who was stupid enough to think of Turkish troops in IRAQ??? Whose Braniac answer was that?????
