Col. Terry Ebbert, director of homeland security for New Orleans, concurred, and he was particularly pungent in his criticism. Asserting that the whole recovery operation had been "carried on the backs of the little guys for four goddamn days," he said that "the rest of the goddamn nation can't get us any resources for security."

else, the Bush Administration approaches it like a PR issue. Talking heads do briefings and the talk/news show like they do with Iraq.

If only the damn media would stop showing video and talking about tens of thousands suffering for lack of basic necessities...the Bushies could "catapult the propaganda."

No, they can't govern since they don't believe in government, only using its power to benefit themselves and their special interests. Remember, Bush's "base" is the "haves and have mores."
