2. They ARE meaningful
The Americans dying in Iraq will not die in vain if this country wakes up to the corrupt administration and holds them accountable.

7. Can the U.S. afford to fight a pointless war
And rebuild a major city at the same time? I doubt it. The choice made between the two will be instructive.

8. Why are we fighting a war in Iraq, again?
It's going to be really hard to pinch out another 80+ billion this year for the Iraq folly.

9. It's hard to keep up with the idiot boy's* bodycount
Soldiers dying in Iraq and Afghanistan, civillians dying all over the world, part of our country degenerating to less than third world status.
I'm going to become religious just so I can believe in divine justice after this idiot croaks.

19. No, he's still Bush league
He still needs to kill at least 10 million more people just to get into the top twenty.

13. Why can't the media focus on MORE than one story?
My heart is breaking over what this country has become ...

I am embarrassed that we are not showing care, concern, compassion for the brave AND the poor!

Cuts, cuts, and more cuts in programs, infrastructure, health care, welfare, etc. AND CUTS in TAXES for the rich ... WHERE IS THEIR SACRIFICE!

15. I wonder how the NOLA members of the Guard
...and the other disaster affected Gulf region service people (now in the wrong gulf region) are coping with what they are seeing and hearing. I can't begin to imagine their levels of distress and ancxiety. They have the training, the people, the equipment - the vehicles, the generators, the supplies - that are missing and needed.

17. This is criminal
Our soldiers are dying, suffering horrific injuries, and inflicting death and suffering upon the citizens of a country we illegally invaded. The whole world knows that Bush is a criminal, a coward, and a bully. We don't need to have any more debates about this. Bring our troops home now. Every day we are there causes more death and bloodshed.

It is useless now, after this administration's monumental screwup after Katrina, to pretend that our country hasn't been declining in every way since Bush stole the first election. The only way we can regain the respect of the rest of the world is to impeach Bush and every other member of his cabal responsible for placing our country on this path to ruin.

Bring them back NOW!
