France and Germany will unite to reject US demands over Iraq

THE worlds’s most powerful nations face their worst disagreement since the British-American invasion of Iraq this week when France, Germany and Russia this week will reject American demands to write off Iraq’s £90 billion of foreign debt incurred during Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship.

The clash will come at the Iraq donor’s conference in Madrid on Thursday, when the major powers are also likely to refuse to donate as much money for the reconstruction of Iraq as the US wants.

2. France, Germany, and Russia are all sitting back laughing their asses

off right now. They took the heat off themselves when they voted for UN blessing on the occupation. At the same time they put all the failure on Bush's shoulders. They knew that vote was an empty gesture. It's the money and the live bodies that really count. Georgie sure didn't think his little plan out, did he? Not only did the Senate declare that half of the money slated for the rebuilding for Iraq was to be a loan (which the House will probably overturn), but the three biggest nations that could help pull his pathetic ass out of the fire are just playing him along, screwing him at every turn. I guess that's what happens when you insult people (governments) and then expect them to come save your butt when the going gets tough.

you can't base a foriegn policy on faith and hope. We are royally screwed no matter what happens, and our soldiers are dying at a steady rate.

What is Bush going to do when the money runs out?

What is going to happen when the Iraqi's get fed up enough to try and kick us out?

8. I'll tell you what they're going to do....

they're going to tell their buddies that own the voting machines to let them elect a Democrat, so they can blame the fall-out on him. Of course, they'll put whichever Dem in office they most want to use as an "example". That lets Lieberman off the hook.

Either that, or they'll let Georgie get re-elected and then have him Wellstoned. Either way....we're screwed until we get the voting machines straightened out and get a Voter Verified Paper Ballot!!

While our Republicans friends search ways to screw us through loop-holes. Such as off shore banking, cooking the books to the advanage of big corporation to cheat the stock holders, rigging elections, selling of arms to third world counties while hiding behind companies like the Carlyle Group & Halliburton.

This is a great country when it works, and it isn't working right now.

We're in debt, losing jobs, losing lifes and face in the world that use to love us. Hope! I just hope we never lose it!
