Wyo Guard units head to New Orleans

CHEYENNE -- Four UH-60 helicopters and two C-130 transport planes carrying medical evacuation personnel and equipment left Cheyenne Friday morning to assist with efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in the South.
The Wyoming Air National Guard's 187th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron sent two crews, consisting of four flight nurses and six aeromedical evacuation technicians, on the C-1302 with missions to transport patients from New Orleans to Shreveport, La., and Little Rock, Ark.
