BAGHDAD, Iraq - Deadly ambush teams struck U.S. Army targets from west to north in the arc of resistance around Baghdad, and the interim Iraqi leader called Sunday for an immediate mobilization of the old Iraqi army to help the harried Americans.

<snip>

The old Iraqi Army is going to help the Americans???????????
Was this written by Lewis Carrol?

1. They really screwed up
when they disbanded the army. The Defense Department should get their stick out of their ass and listen to the state department once in a while.

2. We'll make up for it by disbanding the most efficient food distribution
system in the world so the Iraqi poor can starve like many American poor.

3. The Iraqi children have been starving and doing without medicines...
...since UN sanctions were imposed on Iraq in 1990.

5. Bringing American values to the world
I guess they want to see the poor in Iraq treated like the poor here in America. And Bush gets to use the same lies on them that work so well on the ignorant sheep here in America.

4. Well, gee I think the former soldiers have found something to do,
ah, it's called resistance fighting along with the rest of the Iraqis.
I think they should enlist the help of all those Iraqi National Congress members, hand Chalabi and his nephew some gear, after all, the faulty intelligence was supplied by the INC.
