Gay and Lesbian Fund gives 1 million to hurricane relief

Founder Tim Gill and his Gay and Lesbian Fund for Colorado are offering a $1 million matching grant to the American Red Cross, saying it'll provide $2 million for hurricane relief.

The fund said it will match individual donations from Coloradans up to $250 through September 25th.

Being compassionate, giving and loving is no comparison to the fact that they have no family values and love somebody of the same sex. What terrible people they are. :sarcasm:

Good for them. You really see the true blue people coming out in times like this. God bless them. Honestly. I'm proud to see them step up like that. I support their rights. I'm straight and all, but I gauge a person's merit based on who they are not who they love. That's great. That action really warms my heart. That the G and L community can withstand so much hatred and oppression and still be so loving is really a testament to what kind of people they are. It truly is. :)

it always amazed me that some churches could have some fairly obvious gay folk as members -- i mean folk who did all the heavy lifting and donating -- and the preachers could STILL deliver hateful messages re: gay folk.

it's the same thing nationally -- love our money and labour -- hate us.
