4. Good planning, actually.
Who would feel like eating after being forced to look at Bush's ugly face?

5. JESUS
Will the nightmare never end? Clinton was vilified for holding up air traffic while he supposedly got a haircut - and Bush gets away with holding up relief supplies for a photo op?

Somebody wake me up, please.

9. And the Clinton story was untrue.
FAA confirmed that no flights were delayed, but that didn't stop the RW shills from shouting the story far and wide, anyway. Facts never get in their way!

6. Oh yeah, what you all said
And then some. I saw this, had to post it.

It's every bit as bad as the "let them eat cake", isn't it? Feels like it to me.

To think of people waiting for food, so this bastard can have pr face time in the "affected" area. What a jerk. Such a jerk.

17. LET THEM EAT CAKE!!!!!!!!!
Yeah whatever4,

Those were the exact words that played in my head too. This all just makes me sick. I've been trying so hard not to say the word GENOCIDE.

:grr:

But, they are making REALLY difficult for me. :banghead:

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go puke in the corner.

:puke: :puke: :puke:

8. Where is the outrage of the radioheads...
who rambled for years on the (false) claim that a Clinton
haircut caused people to have to wait on the tarmac of LAX?

20. Why if this President is sooooo loved by everyone
does he need such security that food can't even be delivered, because of a shut-down? What are they afraid of? They think someone hates the guy?

24. That brings up the one question I have about all this. If Clinton had
gone down would this not have happened because he did not use tons of security to get around? I know when * came to my city everything shut down.

I guess what I am saying is what would have been the right protocol for * to follow in order not to fuck everything up again? You know if some freepers hear this they are going to say it would happen with every president.

26. You got a point
Bush is the most hated President.. around the world. Because of his actions, he does need extra security. And so long as he is the sleeping the WH, he has to be protected like any other national momument.

But some of this is way beyond rational.

In this case, the ablity to "get in there" to do something to him.. using flight, etc.. would be rather difficult at this time. So some things are not as needed.

Stopping shipments that are coming across land.. no excuse for that at all.

They are grounding ALL flights, including those in the Military. ????? Civilian flights, I can understand that. But not the military flights.

He THINKS we want him to go down there and do photo ops. What he DOESN'T get, is we want him down there beside the GOV, MAYORS, FEMA, etc... In the WAR room acting SERIOUS about his job.

To him, his job is a photo shot on location. It's his confusion that is causing this mess.

31. The right protocol
would be for Bush to keep his happy ass in DC, sign bills and go on TV every day bragging about how wonderfully Trent Lott's new house is coming along.

He needs to stay the fuck out of the disaster area. Period. Every time he goes down there the relief effort goes straight to hell. If he stays in DC, those people can work.
