Iran agrees to tougher inspections
TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- Iran has agreed to allow tougher U.N. inspections of its nuclear facilities and to suspend its uranium enrichment program, a top Iranian official announced after meeting with three European foreign ministers.

Dr. Hassan Rowhani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said Iran is voluntarily making the moves to "promote international good will, create stability, and put an end to tensions."

Rowhani said that Iran would also cooperate fully with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Rowhani made the announcement following a session Tuesday in Iran with French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin, German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer, and British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw.

1. I'll bet this made Israel mad
They would LOVE for Iran to refuse inspections. I suspect that eventualy the US will push some resolution that Iran will be forced to refuse. Then Israel will use that as an excuse to kill attack a power-plant or three.

4. When can The People inspect the rooms which house the Harken,
Enron, Halliburton, WorldCom, Cheney Energy Task Force, 9/11 FBI reports... and a host of other files? Since we are the ones who paid for everyones salary who made the reports and it's our government.

5. How much you want to bet that we'll soon start hearing about Iran's...
...SECRET uranium enrichment facilities, and the SECRET mobile bio-labs hidden in the desert, and the SECRET underground chem-labs?

And, oh yeah, this is a good one...Iran is SECRETLY moving all of the WMDs in their possession to the same hiding place in Syria that Saddam is using.

7. I couldn't have said it better
This is GOOD news! I would think that the Bush* administration would welcome such news instead of maintaining its hostile attitude. Are they looking for an excuse to go to war? Iran is not Iraq. The government is much different and is moving towards a resumption of democracy, if left on its own. New elections will take place within the year. Students have taken to the streets demanding greater freedoms. This was also the only country in the region that had a massive public demonstration of sympathy for the U.S. directly after 9/11.
