US failure to count civilian deaths 'incredible' {Independent}

1. They not only refuse to count,

they also refuse to investigate. It is a moral travesty and a violation of international laws and agreements. Bush and company are war criminals, plain and simple. It is disgusting to think that our government is in the business of killing civilians (particularly since they declared war is over) and do not care. We are being ruled and led by psychopaths and we have no choice but to complain and sit and watch it happen.

10. Even worse, they stopped the Int'l Red Cross

From the start of major military operation, the ICRC was sending in staff to the hospitals in Iraq to count the injured and the dead. Up until March 23, 2003 the ICRC was posting this data on their website on a daily basis. After 03/23/03 they stopped posting any references to numbers of dead and injured. In other words, they stopped counting. I would assume that Bu$hCo pressured them to stop. So not only did the US refuse to count Iraqi casualties, they stopped the ICRC which was counting.
