CNN -- A tropical depression formed late Saturday near the Bahamas, a storm the National Hurricane Center forecasts will intensify as it moves west toward the Florida Keys, Cuba and the Gulf of Mexico.

Phillipe looks like it is going to be dragged north by the Gulf Stream, thus NOT a problem, for it is the Gulf that is the Concern this year.

Tropical Depression 18 (Once the sustain wind speeds gets over 35mph it will become Tropical Storm RITA). This is entering the Gulf of Mexico AND AT THAT POINT WILL STRENGTHEN it can become another Katrina.

Than you have the Tropical Wave in the Leeward Islands, It can become Tropical Depression 19 than Tropical Storm Stan, and than enter the Gulf.

40 mph winds, still on the same course, may be a Cat 1 or 2 as it passes under the Keys, or with a jog to the North, over the Keys.
