ONE SOLDIER KILLED BY IED
LSA ANACONDA, BALAD, Iraq – One 56th BCT Soldier was killed by an improvised explosive device while conducting a combat logistics patrol at about 10:50 p.m. September 17, near Al Asad, Iraq. The Soldier was taken to a Coalition Forces medical treatment facility where he died of his wounds. The name of the Soldier is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
