Jailers 'sadistic toward Muslims'

An investigation into prison racism has uncovered evidence of the abuse and mistreatment of Muslim inmates.

There is a "sadistic" streak among some officers which combined with their laziness, "lack of training and intelligence" has meant that racial issues are ignored, the Zahid Mubarek Inquiry was told.

Muslim inmates claimed that prison officers have made racist comments to them in the wake of July's London bombings.

One was kicked while kneeling in prayer, and on another occasion a Muslim and a Jew were ordered to share a cell even though both objected.

Why don't we use the short hand for it. RACISTS.

Yeah, they're stupid, and untrained too. But, seriously, how much training do you need to treat others with respect? Isn't that taught in Kindergarden, day 1?

There's just a lot of racist prison guards, that's all it is. End of story.

I'm not defending the warders, officials have a responsiblity to be fair, but the cell sharing did make me laugh.
However if I had to share a cell with Zombileeza, I hope someone would take my objections seriously.

4. If some weird set of circumstances found me in a cell with her, I'd be

relieved that I wasn't with one of the Manson girls, and with someone who could read and write, and had an idea of common hygenic practices.

In the "potential cellmate category", Condoleeza doesn't really rate on my lists of nightmare scenarios.

Noonwitch, you're absolutely right about Zombileeza being the expert in hygeine practices, as we all learnt from the scrub's famous note. Would you have to ask her permission before you used the bucket, or only ask whether or not you needed to use it?
