I think that a lot of people who were dazzled by his star power and the idea that he would be "different", and somehow above politics-as-usual, have had their eyes opened. Democrats need to offer a more than halfway decent choice as his opponent, and that candidate must speak loudly and clearly about how much money Arnold has raised, where it came from, and his conflicts of interest. And it wouldn't hurt for some reporters to actually do some real reporting on his sexual shenanigans. It's well known, but rarely reported seriously.

IMHO, the local news around here is pretty good as far as holding the gropenator accountable. In general, they often do a better job of reporting on even national issues than the "real news." For example, they picked up on looting versus finding before any network did.

That may not be true in other parts of the state, but Ahhnuld isn't getting any free ride around here.
