Canada, China sign deals on range of issues

Canada and China signed three agreements Wednesday to co-operate more closely on issues such as the environment, health care and agriculture.

The two countries also promised to work together on education initiatives and to share expertise in terms of legislative practices.

They have agreed to work together on climate-change initiatives and creating new environmental technologies. In education, they agreed to increase the monetary value of scholarships for a Canada-China student exchange program.
