Crackdown on European child porn

Police have carried out a series of raids targeting child pornography suspects as part of a joint operation involving six European countries.

Dozens of addresses were raided and computers, DVDs and digital cameras were seized.

Operation Icebreaker II was carried out by the European police agency Europol in France, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden and the UK.

It followed an operation in June that resulted in 130 arrests for child porn.

Both operations were led by Italy's Carabinieri police.

1. I guess republicans wil have to find other ways of entertaning

themselves when they visit European countries.

2. Now, they need to concentrate on the former Soviet block countries

and Eastern European countries--Romania in particular.

MSNBC had a expose on about a year ago about the child prostitution epidemic going on there---American men coming over and buying children to have sex with and the children's parents are their pimps.

It seems the sex trade is the only lucrative business in the former Soviet countries.
