BAGHDAD, Iraq –A Task Force Baghdad Soldier was killed when a vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in central Baghdad at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 21.

The name of the Soldier is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The incident is under investigation.
