Virginia Attorney General Attacked For Supporting Gay Workers
http://www.365gay.com/newscontent/102403VirginiaGay.htm

Two conservative Christian groups are attacking Virginia Attorney General Jerry W. Kilgore for pledging not to discriminate against gay and lesbians in hiring decisions.

Equality Virginia, the Log Cabin Republican Club of Virginia and the Virginia Partisans Gay and Lesbian Democratic Club asked elected state officials this year to sign a nondiscrimination pledge.

9. The irony here is incredible. Kilgore's voice won't be in campaign ads
You see Jerry has a VERY rich sweet southern accent. If you hear him speak........well..........one might start to wonder about that boy (as they say 'round here-ah). His commercials will feature shots of him (very well groomed-great quaff) but his voice will not be used and he will not speak directly to the camera. I heard this from a friend whose boss is IN the Va.Repube party. Apparently some tests have shown that his voice might not go over to well with the "base".

TIM KAINE FOR GOVERNOR!!!!!!!!!

5. And the war goes on

These freaking Righties can't do ANYTHING Jesus taught: Ya know...working for peace, the hungry, the sick....

Nope, their brand of Jesus was a hate monger who was completely preoccupied with one's sexual orientation-that is likely a product of their genetic code.

Get a damn life you nutjobs.

8. Jerry ain't too cuddly
The governor and lieutenant governor of Virginia asked this buttwipe to intervene in a Supreme Court appeal which, if successful, would expand the scope of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Kilgore blew them off, saying that any victory in the Supreme Court could lead to more -- you guessed it -- frivolous lawsuits.

10. That would be Mr.Fixit Gov. Warner and LG Tim Kaine
GO TIM KAINE!!!

AS a resident of Richmond I would love to see our former mayor go go go up the political chain. Anyone who has ever watched a Richmond city council meeting knows that there is no one better at managing insane crowds and difficult people.
