Poll: Latin America Has Dismal View of Bush
MIAMI (Reuters) - Latin Americans have a dismal opinion of President Bush after he ignored world opinion to wage war in Iraq, and against a backdrop of mistrust over U.S. aims in pushing for regional free trade, a poll published on Tuesday showed.

The University of Miami School of Business/Zogby International poll of Latin American elites found that only 12 percent of those questioned rated President Bush's performance on Latin America as positive.

In Brazil, Latin America's largest country, 98 percent gave the U.S. leader a negative mark.

In Mexico, President Vicente Fox has been frustrated in his quest to improve the lot of 3 million to 5 million Mexicans living illegally in the United States, just 5 percent gave Bush positive grades.

The only people who view this guy as okay are about 50% of US ignorant sheeple. They believe anything they're told by their "sources." Unbelievable and pathetic. Does one laugh or cry?

7. Me too
I want to move to Brazil also.

I was there a few months ago, and everyone -- I mean EVERYONE -- I talked to considered Bush to be stupid, inept, vicious, trying to take over the world, horrible, etc. Thankfully, people treated me very well as soon as they understood that I'm not a Bush supporter.

Gleitschlaung ("bringing into line") of the media.

Corporate TV Pravda.

The Rise of Party Loyal Right-Wing Sub-Media.

Amerikan are trapped behind the Televised Curtain. Things are still mostly ok for the Little People for the moment but everyone is as misinformed and ill-informed as a 1967 Soviet Citizen.

15. Wanna get REALLY depressed?
We liked Clinton. A lot. That sex thing and the moralistic persecition that ensued only heightened our sympathy for the guy.

5. This can work to the Dem's side
Dem's should bring up the issue that the entire world hates us even more than they did before the Iraqui war.

However, I think it could only work with a candidate that was against the war.

17. Thank you Latin America.
So glad that the rest of the world can see through Bush, while Americans still seem confused. I'm sure that by election time, we will have Bush on the ropes.
