Tyco Jurors View $2M Party Video
Jurors were shown an expurgated videotape Tuesday of women in gauzy gowns, half-naked male models and "Margaritaville" singer Jimmy Buffett at a $2 million party that former Tyco chief Dennis Kozlowski threw for his wife on a Mediterranean island.

Prosecutors maintained the party — more than half of which was paid for with company money — was a "stark example" of how Kozlowski and former chief financial officer Mark Swartz looted hundreds of millions from Tyco for their personal benefit.

The videotape — heavily edited at the request of the defense — showed Kozlowski welcoming about 75 revelers to the party on Sardinia.

What I can add to this story is second hand info from my father who was involved in 'business' for a number of years. He told me he's seen 'so many companies which are so finacially in trouble and/or at imminent bankruptcy but yet the boards are flying all over the country/world having 'meetings' with no purposes and spending money like they've got millions. They don't give a shit about the stockholders.'

Now my father wasn't involved in really big business but small/medium sized. If my father knows this are many others do as 'common knowledge', why doesn't the Bush Empire SEC?

1. I'm sure the BFEE SEC does know. . .
. . . they either don't care or they approve.

probably the latter.

2. Too Many Companies Invest In BS
Because they believe it's a tax write-off (which it is) but at the ultimate expense of their bottom-line.

A good businessman thinks about and balances both, no matter what he and/or she has been taught in college or at their respective corporations.
