US blames al-Qaeda for Iraq blasts
http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2003/11/01/1067597185966.html
The suicide bombers who struck Baghdad this week used thousands of pounds of plastic explosives and diversionary tactics that are hallmarks of al-Qaeda, a senior US counterterrorism official said.

The way the attacks were carried out has made American investigators believe they could be seeing a change in tactics by those attempting to drive US forces out of Iraq, the official told The Associated Press in an interview.

3. I am sooooo confused

I thought we had this all straightened out yesterday - it was Saddam loyalists that were responsible. No, wait, it was Shiite sympathizers. No, that's not it - it was Syria. Arrghhhhhh!! I don't know, I just don't know.....

(Maybe it was Grady Little's fault for not pulling Saddam earlier - he was obviously tiring...)

4. Without Reading The Article,...
I see right off the bat that the two quotes cited are diametrically opposed. The tactics are hallmarks of Al Qaeda yet they are changing? Will we ever hear anything resembling honesty from these thugs?

5. Get your story straight, you lying so-and-so's
Yesterday I was reading that it was Saddam himself pulling out grenade pins with his teeth. Now it's Osama and the boys.

What percentage of the population is going to be gullible enough to believe one or both of these preposterous stories.

Oops, I forgot about the Syrians, who throw their passports out and claim thier nationalities as soon as they get shot. Where do they fit in?
