March 3 (Bloomberg) -- Pakistan is bracing for a nationwide strike today over the publication in Europe of cartoons depicting the prophet Muhammad, as well as the arrival of U.S. President George W. Bush on an overnight visit.

on the heels of the cartoon crisis. It seems like the visit would just be handing ammo over to extremists.
