Alarcon Blasts US on Women´s Day

Havana, Mar 9 (Prensa Latina) Speaker of the Cuban Parliament, Ricardo Alarcon, rejected and termed the US administration program known here as the Bush Plan as annexionist and genocidal.

Speaking at the Jose Marti Anti-Imperialist Tribune Wednesday night, the legislative leader spoke against the US scheme for an alleged transition in Cuba.

He said the country will never return to the past and that the White House´s true purposes with such a plot is to announce Cuba´s destination once the Revolution has been overthrown.
He said such a task would be very difficult if not impossible.

He pointed out that President George W. Bush recently threatened to updating that document, which was presented in 2004 by a commission led by then Secretary of State Colin Powell.
He continued saying that the current US executive does not care about the death of young people like the son of courageous mother Cindy Sheehan, and much less those from Iraq.
