Laura Bush, Condoleezza Rice Awarded
Of course it is Kuwait who recognizes them ...a no brainer.

WASHINGTON (AP) - First lady Laura Bush, actor Michael Douglas and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice were honored Wednesday in recognition of International Women's Day and The United Nations Children's Fund 60th anniversary.

The Kuwait-America Foundation, which sponsored the event to benefit UNICEF, awarded Bush its humanitarian award, Rice its public service award and Douglas its private citizen's award for their efforts on behalf of improving the education of girls in Afghanistan.

"I believe that women everywhere share the same dreams; to be educated, to live in peace, to enjoy good health, to be prosperous and to be heard," Bush said in her acceptance speech. "And, of course, these dreams start with the education of girls."

11. Laura Orwell
"I believe that women everywhere share the same dreams; to be educated, to live in peace, to enjoy good health, to be prosperous and to be heard," Bush said in her acceptance speech. "And, of course, these dreams start with the education of girls."

Then she delivered the Steve Martin style punchline . . . "Maybe somewhere, but not here . . ."

16. I guess Kuwait wants something.
Or is paying for something they already got.

This can't possibly have anything to do with the condition of women in Afghanistan.

17. Well, they both think they are Bush's wife
So, they might as well share the delusion that they are humanitarians as well. The rest of the world knows better.

If only Laura's ex-boyfriend could have survived to see this day...
