Terrorism: Video Shows Iraqi Children Playing with Remains of U.S. Soldier

TERRORISM: VIDEO SHOWS IRAQI CHILDREN PLAYING WITH REMAINS OF U.S. SOLDIER

Rome, 15 March (AKI) - The children climb down into the crater left by an explosion and start picking up scraps of twisted metal. "Allah is great!" they shout before the camera hones in to show what one boy is holding: torn fabric, the colour of the camouflage fatigues worn by US troops. The next scene shows the same children holding aloft a human leg, shreds of the same camouflage fabric hang from it and the foot is clad in a military-style boot. The children trample the leg and kick it around in the dust.

"Today the Americans came to these parts and the buried bomb blew up their Hummer vehicle," says a teenage boy, adding, "if Allah wants it, the mujahadeen will win."

This grisly footage, purportedly shot in the Iraqi city of Ramadi, has appeared in the form of a three-minute video on the Internet. It marks the latest attempt by Jihadist militants to exploit children for propaganda purposes.

...

Still, sinister references to the carnage that blights Iraq on a daily basis soon became evident. The pupils were being taught to sing Jihad songs by hooded militants who rewarded their efforts with pens, rulers and erasers. The video concluded with images of two small boys, clad in black tunics and wearing black ski masks and one holding a pistol in his tiny hand.

1. hmm, just about as convenient timing as the latest OBL tapes--and,
it's okay for the US to engage in propoganda, but NOT the people upon whom the war is being waged? just wondering.

5. To me, this just shows that the war on terror...
is not a war that can be won with guns and bombs. We've fueled resentment that will last for generations to come.

7. Sooooo....we are too hate the Iraqi's /Arabs now....
we were supposed to love the Iraqi's and Arabs for the Ports Deal last week!!

These children have been exposed to carnage on a daily basis....children are the easiest humans to influence with good experiences or bad experiences....They are being shaped by the environment that the * cabal has thrust upon their innocent blank canvasas....These children are tomorrows terrorist, suicide bomber and haters of all things American...Once again the * cabal has not thought about impacts of their actions....and the longterm impact of those actions....

Our soldiers should not be there....they should be home safe.

I am not condoning what these children are doing, there is no execuse for what they are doing but they are a product of the environment that the * cabal has created!!!

9. Imagine how American children would treat the bodies of foreign troops
That had invaded and occupied the U.S.

It would be no different - maybe worse.

15. They have limited options for fighting back.
America has kindled very intense, mind-numbing hatred, or else despair beyong comprehension. Would we react much differently if the shoe were on the other foot? These people did not attack us. What the hell are we doing killing their innocents?

Relatives mourn near the bodies of children, reportedly killed in a U.S. raid, as they arrive in a hospital in Tikrit, 130 kilometers (80 miles) north of Baghdad, Iraq, Wednesday, March 15,2006. Eleven people, most of them women and children were killed when a house was bombed during a U.S. raid north of Baghdad early Wednesday, police and relatives said. The U.S. military acknowledged four deaths in the raid that they said netted an insurgent suspect in the rural Isahaqi area, about 80 kilometers (50 miles) north of the capital. A million children who will learn to hate
before they learn to read,
and who will regard body parts
as no more than especially prized playthings.

Why do I hate "Spreading Freedom" so much?

19. I can't say as I blame them
watching an occupying force slaughter whole families at a time would have to affect them.

21. Our dead soldiers are nothing but life-sized GI Joe dolls to the poor Iraq
children.

I pity the desolation of these children's lives and mourn the passing of a veteran who was "just doing his job."

24. Saddam is removed, USA is now responsible for killing innocent Iraqis
.
.
.

Sorry, but these kids just don't "get" this idea of "collateral damage" as they see their parents, siblings and friends blown to pieces by the "liberators"

And rather than their lifestyle improving, it has gone downhill.

Americans, and any associated with them are now a pariah in the ME.

"Mission Accomplished" indeed.

(sigh)

25. Anyone see the 60 Minutes story on Tal Afar
With the happy children chanting the name of the American soldier as he walked through the market?

That's not propaganda, apparently. That's just good ole fashion CBS reporting...:eyes:
