Rescued couple wanted on drug charges (17 Day Motor Home Snowbound)
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11994342/from/RS.1/

Arizona authorities have filed felony drug charges against two members of a family that was rescued from a snowbound motor home earlier this week.

Warrants were issued in Snowflake, Ariz., for Elbert and Becky Higginbotham on Wednesday, a day after they and four relatives were rescued in a mountainous region of southern Oregon.

The couple are charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. The records show Elbert Higginbotham is also wanted on a charge of misconduct involving weapons.

In an interview with the Ashland Daily Tidings published Friday, Elbert Higginbotham acknowledged he had been arrested on drug charges in Arizona, where the couple live, but he said the drugs were not his.

“I was in the wrong place at the wrong time,” he said.

H,mmmm wonder if he is a Republican?

1. Bwuhahahahaha!
the only half hour I watched news this week was a morning after they were rescued, so I got to see them.

There's just something deliciously, I don't know, schadenfreude-ish about this.

Makes one wonder if they got into their snowbound trouble cuz they was fucked up on drugs.

12. No they weren't found in the trailer...

the couple were taking care of a house (housesitting) that belonged to someone else which was then raided, so the excuse has traction,

Granny and Grandpappy were drug dealers...
And wanted on a weapons charrrrge...
So they took off in the RV...

To be continued...

Hmmm, I smell a country-western song in the making!

6. It has bothered me that the two adults left the kids alone in the RV
I mean, couldn't one parent have stayed with the kids? Would have pretty scary for them.

7. They didn't - the grandparents were there
but maybe this is why they didn't venture out for help sooner.

10. I figured they had to be dopers. After all, they spelled their kids' names
"Sabastyan" and "Gabrayell."

If they're THAT fucking ignorant, there MUST be drugs involved.

13. The meth freaks are the GRANDparents.
The ones the parents left the kids with while they hiked out for help. Granny wasn't baking cookies in the kitchen.

24. But using the word "Fucking" might!
Unless you actually ARE fucking....

My IQ is 140, and I use "fucking" all the time when I am really, really pissed!

I like to use the altered version "Fuckin`"

As in - "He won?! You`ve got to be fuckin` kidding me !"

"Clark told the Ashland newspaper that Higginbotham and his wife were arrested last year in Arizona, but never charged, on three felony counts, including possession of methamphetamine and possession of a shotgun."

Edited to add that anyone who cooks sucks a dangerous drug (if it was meth) in the presence of kids needs a ass beating.

19. Try to follow
The Higenbothams (mother of Stivers and step father) had some charges against them in AZ.
It seem at the moment that they got lost again! They do not have the motor home because it was only pulled out of the snow today. Stivers hasn't seen or heard from the folks since they returned home to Ashland.

22. Why are warrants being issued from Snowflake?
It's not the county seat, and the town clowns don't really have any authority outside of the town borders. And why are they doing law enforcement for another town that has their own police force (Heber) ?

Something weird is going on in Navajo county....
