Democrats Have Ten-Point Lead in U.S.
March 30, 2006

(Angus Reid Global Scan) – Many voters in the United States will support Democratic Party candidates this year, according to a poll by SRBI Public Affairs published in Time. 51 per cent of respondents would back the Democratic contender in their congressional district.

The Republican Party is second with 41 per cent. One per cent of respondents would vote for other parties, and eight per cent remain undecided. American voters will renew the House of Representatives and one-third of the Senate on Nov. 7.

2. That's not enough of a lead........
that much is still within the margin of election theft by the Reich-Wing. I'd say a solid 20% is needed to ensure that the GOP can't steal more elections. We have some work to do.

3. W/O real elections, that poll is not worth the paper it is written on
This is the key to actually taking back any part of the government. Vapor votes, over votes, Republican party-owned votes, etc. are obstacles we MUST overcome.

4. Paper voting, not vapor voting!
Should be our battle cry.

I hope we can continue the wave of rejection of electronic machines. If not, I hope we reach 20% and the theft is too obvious to pull off.

7. I'm still not comfortable.
Here we are in March of 2006, six years into this disaster of a presidency, and the polls only show a 10 point difference? That is actually a little sad. An outsider to this country, if given all the facts, would assume that there shouldn't be any Americans left giving support to the Republicans. And as fast as it will seem for November to catch up with us, there is still worlds of time for the Pubs to pull a whole deck of cards out from their sleeve.

As is said, the Republicans are masters when it comes to campaigning, they just can't govern worth shit.
